I met Remington’s mommy at one of my free cloth diaper workshops a few months ago. She was still pregnant with him and stocked up on a bunch of different diapers, including Happy Hempys fitted diapers.

 Here is Dream Diapers’ very first customer! I met with Mikah’s mommy a year ago while she was still pregnant, through my first cloth diaper class and then through my mobile boutique. We looked at all sorts of diapers and she decided on Happy Heinys pocket diapers for the majority of her stash.

Then, a few months later, Dream Diapers’ first “star” was born. He started off in Happy Heinys size small and here he is at 5 months, 15 pounds, in his Happy Heinys 1-size snapped at the first setting. Too cute! Thanks to his mommy and daddy for allowing me the honor of helping them get started using cloth and for being my first customer (and for letting me work out some “new business kinks”). You are so special to me!

Please meet Dream Diapers’ Baby, Bianca! Her mommy and daddy attended one of my free cloth diaper classes at Blossom in Old Town Front Street, Temecula in December, 2008. They were still pregnant at that time, and now Bianca has blossomed into a beautiful 3 month old, 13 pound ‘Dream Boat’.

Here, Bianca is modeling her Happy Hempy fitted hemp diaper in size medium. Bianca has just started to fit into them, and she’s got a lot of room to grow. (She wore the size small until now.) When she’s not busy modeling, Bianca sports a Stacinator fleece cover over her Happy Hempys. Thanks, Bianca, for sending in your picture!

I will teach a free cloth diapering 101 class for parents in Temecula, Wednesday, April 8th, 2009, 10-11:30. Just contact me for the address.

In this class, we discuss the difference between pocket diapers, all in one, fitted, prefold and all the ways you can match a cover or wrap with these. We talk about the pros and cons of each, how to care for and wash, how to fold a prefold (and all the different types of folds), the economical benefits, environmental benefits, health benefits and much more. Everyone gets to see the diapers and have hands on practice before deciding what works for them. Even if you don’t plan on buying any diapers I would love to have you come and learn.
